The Pirelli Winter Snowcontrol 3 is a winter performance tyre designed for sedans, coupes, and compact cars that provides high security on cold, dry, wet and wintry surfaces. The tyre features an optimized tread pattern with rounded shoulder blocks and interlocking center blocks that increase snow traction and stability while reducing noise through optimal block spacing. The latest generation of silica-enhanced winter compound ensures excellent performance in both wet and snowy conditions, while the two wide circumferential channels and lateral grooves enhance hydroplaning resistance. A Self-Supporting Run Flat version is available that allows the tyre to operate for up to 80 kilometres at 80 kilometres per hour after complete air pressure loss. The tyre incorporates twin steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide for thermal stability, and many sizes feature low rolling resistance technology for improved fuel efficiency.
