The Westlake All Season Elite Z-401 is an all-season touring tyre designed for passenger cars and provides year-round performance in moderate seasonal changes. The tyre features a Divergent V-Groove for excellent snow and water drainage, a special ZC-Rubber all-season compound for longer mileage, and logical kerf design for traction on snow and wet surfaces. It demonstrates excellent rolling resistance and low fuel consumption, contributing to improved efficiency. However, independent testing shows the Z-401 has significant weaknesses including extremely long braking distances in both wet and dry conditions, poor aquaplaning resistance, weak snow traction, and the highest noise levels among tested all-season tyres. The tyre is available in various sizes with speed ratings ranging from T to W, and load indices suitable for standard passenger vehicles.
