The Hankook Winter i*Pike (RW11) is a studdable winter tire specifically designed for light trucks, CUVs, and SUVs operating in severe snow and ice conditions. This tire features a directional tread pattern with variable stepped grooves that enhance snow traction and is certified with the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake designation for severe snow performance. Key technologies include reinforced casing and undertread for durability, high-density siping for improved braking, and flexible rubber compound for grip at lower temperatures. The tire demonstrates excellent traction on ice, snow, and slush, good performance on wet and dry roads, and notably quiet operation at highway speeds due to its unstuddable center block design. It can be fitted with up to six rows of studs where permitted to further strengthen winter performance.
